Delicate tannins and distinctive spice notes make Chillan Carmenere wine light and pleasant to drink. One finds a fruity freshness that is characteristic of the varietal, which brings an impression of velvetiness. The spice addition, on the other hand, adds determination and character.

It is an ideal accompaniment to substantial, meaty dishes, but not fatty ones. It will work well with poultry, even those stronger in flavor and aroma, such as duck and geese. Because of its fruitiness with spice, it is also a good partner for rabbit dishes.
